20th Century, Raoul Dufy French Fauvist Artist - Set of 6 Colorplate Prints - Skira Color Prints Switzerland

A set of 6 prints (colorplates) by French artist, Raoul Dufy. Dufy (1877-1953) is known as a painter of the Fauvist school. Fauvism was a short lived art movement -- but a personal favorite of mine! - that lasted only a few short years, 1905 thru 1908.

This is a set of reproduction prints. Prints are on a card stock type paper with a gloss finish on the card stock/ front of each image.

Prints come in their original envelope/ folder with a small, paper leaflet that provides background on each print and on the artist. Each print is numbered. The number is in the border portion of the print and not part of the actual image.

Markings:
- Unsigned
- Previous price sticker visible on front of folder in the upper right hand corner
- Previous price written in pencil on front of paper biography insert - written at the top of the page

Condition:
- Original vintage condition with little to no signs of wear present
- Toning/ foxing, and wear to print envelope/ folder, biographical insert, and the prints themselves
- Images are NOT mounted to any other surface
- Unframed

- Print Size: 11 3/4" x 9 1/4" inches (white border present on each print. Actual image dimensions vary but are smaller than the print/ card stock paper dimensions.)
- Folder Size: 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" inches
