Dansk Variation V Butter Knife Spreader – Germany – 1 Count – Jens Quistgaard – 1960s – Vintage Flatware – Danish Modern Flatware

A butter knife/ spreader, early 1960s, in the Danish modern pattern, Variation V, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk Designs (Known as Dansk International Designs beginning in 1974).

Variation V was introduced in 1957 and original production ran until 1978. Clean, minimalist, mid-century lines. Original production in the early years (late 1950s to mid-1960s) was in Germany, Denmark, and Finland before moving overseas to Japan and later other countries.

Measurements:
- Butter knife/ spreader measures approx. 7 ” long

Markings:
- Stamped on the back with 4 Ducks Logo + Dansk Designs Germany + IHQ ©

Condition:
- It is difficult to capture imperfections on stainless steel by photo but please know while in good overall condition, this butter knife is not in a perfect, unused state
- Butter knife has been used and does show light signs of use
