1930s Japanese Ceramic Raised Compete Bowl w/ Fruit - Basket Weave Pattern – Gold Rim Detail – Brightly Colored High Gloss Crackle Glaze
A 1930s, Japanese made ceramic, raised compote dish featuring a brightly colored arrangement of fruit against a basket weave background with gold detailing on the rim. High gloss crackle glaze finish.

Exact date of production unknown. Circa 1935.
Markings:
- "Japan" in red lettering on base
Measurements:
- Height - right over 4" inches tall
- Interior Opening - right under 4 1/4" inches round
- Base Diameter - approx. 3 1/4" inch round base
Condition:
- Signs of age, use, wear present
- Crackle glaze finish (please view photos in detail)
- Wear to paint/ finish throughout in various spots - specifically, to the rim area and gold detailing (please view photos in detail)
- Signs of age/ staining in interior of piece (please view photos in detail)
