  • APPRAISAL PRICING

    A USPAP Compliant Appraisal Report

    Initial Client Consultation: 30 minutes | Complimentary; No fee due at time of consultation
    A thirty minute consultation (by phone, email, or video) where client and appraiser discuss, identify the collection/ objects to be appraised, and determine if a formal appraisal is required based on the client’s needs. If a USPAP-compliant appraisal is required, timeframe, process, and pricing will be discussed. If a formal appraisal is not required, the client may use this time to ask questions about the collection. Consultation does not include a written inventory of items with values.

    Inventory & Inspection: $150 One Hour | Fee due at time of contract signing
    If a written appraisal is required an onsite inspection including detailed description and photographs will be performed. If appraisal is being performed virtually, client will be instructed on information and photographs required to complete the appraisal.
    Minimum charge of one hour.

    Research: $150 One Hour | Fee due upon completion of report
    Research is performed to determine the value based on proposed or completed sales of similar items to those being appraised. Market analysis is performed to produce credible report results. If the time required to perform an accurate analysis exceeds the time outlined during consultation, the client will be contacted for approval before the appraiser proceeds.
    Minimum charge of one hour.

    Administrative Costs: $45 Per Hour | Fee due upon completion of report
    Preparation and printing of appraisal report to conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and standards of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). A report consists of a description of the scope of work, markets used to produce credible results, an inventory of items with values, detailed descriptions and photographs of items, and necessary addenda. Report can be delivered by email and/ or a printed copy.
    Minimum charge of one hour.

    Additional Costs: May be requested at time of report
    Includes charges such as mileage, production of additional copies of the report, and other items not included in basic fees. If consultation with a specialist is required to complete an accurate report, the client will be consulted in advance with fees. Client must approve fees in writing. Consultation could be with a subject matter expert, an art authenticator, art/ furniture conservators, etc.

  • COLLECTION MANAGEMENT

    An in-depth inventory/ catalog of items as requested by the client. Inventory of items can include photographs of items if desired. This is not an appraisal or valuation of item(s), but a physical description of item(s) to be referenced by the client and any individual(s) they would like.

Time frame, process, and pricing will be discussed. Client may use this time to ask questions about the collection. Consultation does not include a written inventory of items with values.

    An onsite inspection of item(s) including detailed descriptions and photographs will be performed. If inventory log is being completed virtually, client will be instructed on information and photographs required to complete the inventory log.

    Research: $150 One Hour | Fee due upon completion of report
    Research of any type if it is necessary to complete an accurate inventory log of a collection of items.
    Minimum charge of one hour.
